You book a machine, not a seat
If you are comparing buggy Marrakech prices, one detail changes every calculation: our rates are charged per machine, not per person. A two-seater buggy at 2,000 DH for one hour is 2,000 DH for the vehicle and everyone sitting in it. Not 2,000 DH each.
That rule is the difference between a workable budget and a scary one. Two people in the two-seater share 2,000 DH, so the hour costs 1,000 DH a head. Four people in the four-seater share 2,500 DH, which brings the same hour down to 625 DH each.
Quads are billed the same way, but the arithmetic runs the other direction: two friends who each want to ride take two machines, so you add two rates together. If staying in one vehicle matters more to you than riding solo, ask for the two-seater buggy instead.
2026 buggy and quad biking rates, machine by machine
Every ride starts from our base at the Afriquia petrol station at km 16 on the Amizmiz road, 25 km from central Marrakech. All amounts below are in Moroccan dirhams, per machine, for one or two hours of riding. The same grid is on our buggy and quad prices page.
Buggies: the two-seater Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo is 2,000 DH for one hour and 3,000 DH for two hours. The four-seater Can-Am Maverick X3 Max Turbo is 2,500 DH for one hour and 3,500 DH for two hours.
Quads: the Kawasaki Brute Force 300 is 400 DH for one hour and 700 DH for two hours. The much stronger Can-Am Outlander 850 is 900 DH for one hour and 1,500 DH for two hours. The Brute Force sets the floor of quad biking prices in Marrakech.
Look at the second hour rather than the headline figure. On the X3 Turbo it costs 1,000 DH against 2,000 DH for the first; on the Brute Force 300 it drops from 400 DH to 300 DH. The two-hour rate is always the better value per hour, and the tea break at the bivouac is included in it.
Three budgets worked out end to end
A couple who want two hours in a buggy together take the two-seater X3 Turbo: 3,000 DH in total, which is 1,500 DH each for the whole ride. One line on the bill, not two.
A family of four takes the X3 Max Turbo: 3,500 DH for two hours, or 875 DH per person. Two separate two-seaters for the same group would come to 6,000 DH over the same two hours. Above two people the four-seater is the cheaper answer, and it keeps the children in the vehicle with you, since passengers are welcome from age 6.
Two friends who each want their own quad have two budget levels. Two Brute Force 300s come to 800 DH for one hour and 1,400 DH for two. Two Outlander 850s come to 1,800 DH for one hour and 3,000 DH for two.
If you are planning in euros, use a rough mental rate of about 10 DH to 1 euro, which puts the couple near 300 euros. Treat that as a way to place the figures, never as a guaranteed rate: it depends on your bank on the day, and the dirham amounts are the binding ones.
What the rate covers and what it does not
The machine rate includes the guiding and all the kit: a guide riding with you, the briefing, helmet, goggles, a four-point harness in a buggy or gloves on a quad, fuel and water. From two hours up, the tea break at the bivouac is included too.
Not included: the transfer from your hotel or riad, which is an option quoted separately depending on the address, plus meals and tips. Beyond those three items, nothing is added on top of the machine rate.
No licence is required, because the riding happens on private tracks. You can drive from age 16 and ride as a passenger from age 6. Both are access conditions rather than paid upgrades, and neither changes the amount you pay.
Why a Can-Am costs more than a 300cc quad
The jump from 400 DH to 2,000 DH an hour looks odd at first. It has nothing to do with the terrain, the duration or the guiding, which are the same for everyone. It is the machine you reserve.
The Brute Force 300 is an entry-level quad: small engine, immediate to handle, light on maintenance. It is the cheapest way onto the Agafay tracks and it does the job for a first hour out. The Outlander 850 sits in another class of engine size and torque, with the servicing bill that comes with it.
A Maverick X3 Turbo is a different object again: roll cage, four-point harnesses, long-travel suspension, a turbocharged engine, two or four seats in one frame. You are paying for a machine that is costly to maintain, and buying the ability to ride shoulder to shoulder and stay out of the dust ahead of you.
There is no universal answer. If your hard limit is the budget, start from the 300cc quad. If it is sharing the ride with the people you came with, the buggy is the only option, and its rate divides by the seats you fill.
Paying, deposits and cancellation
There is no online payment on our side. You pay at the base, on the day, in dirhams or in euros. No card details travel when you enquire.
For raids and anything quoted individually, we ask for a 20% deposit by bank transfer so the logistics can be committed. The balance is settled on site, exactly as it is for the short rides.
Cancellation: one-hour and two-hour rides can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your slot. For raids, the deposit is refunded if you cancel at least 7 days before departure. If your plans shift inside those windows, write to us instead of dropping out.
Half-days, full days and raids are quoted, not listed
Past the two-hour mark we deliberately publish no price list. A half-day, a full day or a multi-day raid is not the hourly rate multiplied out: it has to account for the route, the machines and guides, the support following the group, the fuel burned, meals and sometimes accommodation.
A figure published in advance would either be too high for you or unworkable for us. We would rather price it from your actual request: how many of you, which machines, which date, which starting point, and how far into the Agafay you want to push.
If that is the format you have in mind, send those details in your first message. You will be comparing one complete quote rather than a headline price that later grows extra lines.
Getting your own exact figure
For a firm number we need five things: the date, the time you want, how many of you there are, the age of the youngest riders, and whether you want the transfer option from where you are staying. With those five, the answer fits in one message and the total is final. Send them through the booking form or on WhatsApp.
We reply within two hours during opening hours, every day from 8am to 9pm. A message sent overnight is handled when we open the next morning.
One last budget line that is not money: the drive from Marrakech. The base is 25 km from central Marrakech, roughly 35 minutes away. Coming under your own steam costs nothing but fuel, though it does cost time, so leave a margin around your slot, especially late in the day.
