Quad and buggy combo in Agafay

Within a group, preferences split fast: some want to sit strapped in, two or four abreast; others want their own handlebars. This option refuses to decide for you. You build your own convoy from buggies and quads, everyone leaves at the same time behind the same guide, and nobody waits their turn.

Highlights

  • Mixed groups

The youngest ride harnessed in the back of the four-seater with an adult at the wheel, while teenagers and confident adults each take a quad.

  • Couples

Each of you picks a machine at the start, the convoy moves as one, and the tea break is when you swap if you feel like it.

  • Stag and hen parties, friends

For 6 to 12 people, we might combine two 4-seater buggies and four quads, for instance. One set of logistics.

  • Halfway swap

On options of 2 hours and more, everyone can try both machines.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Welcome and double briefing

    30 min

The guide tailors the demonstration to both machines: buggy controls on one side, quad on the other. Everyone picks their starting vehicle.

  2. 2

    First loop

    1 h

Mixed convoy across the ochre plateaus, with the pace set by the most cautious member of the group.

  3. 3

    Tea break and swap

    20 min

Stop at the Berber camp; anyone who wishes swaps buggy for quad.

  4. 4

    Second loop and return

    1 h

Back to the base by another trail, with viewpoints over the Atlas.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone ride together?
Yes. The guide sets the pace so buggies and quads never split up; with large groups, a second guide brings up the rear.
From how many people?
From three participants onwards it starts to make sense. For two people, sharing a single machine costs less and the group naturally stays together.
Can we change machines along the way?
Yes, at the tea break, on rides of 2 hours and more.
