Quad bike hire in Agafay, with a guide and no licence needed

The quad bike, or ATV, is the most accessible way into the Agafay Desert: astride the machine, handlebars in hand, you feel the terrain and ride at your own pace behind the guide. Our Kawasaki Brute Force 300 is automatic, light and low: perfect for a first time, at 400 DH per hour. The Can-Am Outlander 850 offers 78 hp and 4×4 drive for those who have ridden before and want more punch on the climbs.

One hour is enough to cover the first plateaus and a dry riverbed; two hours takes you to the Berber camp for the tea break, with the High Atlas in your sights. The quad and buggy combo lets you try both vehicles on the same ride, and the sunset ride is the most photogenic of all.

As with the buggy, no licence is needed on our private trails. The briefing covers the controls, braking and body position on the quad bike; the guide adapts the pace to the least experienced riders. A passenger can ride behind the driver, from age 6.
